| Saturday, we responded to two vehicle rescues—one on Koffel Road and another at 309 and Hilltown Pike, where we assisted Hilltown Township Volunteer Fire Company
Saturday night into early Sunday morning, our crews responded to a building fire at a large industrial complex in Hatfield Township.
Sunday brought another general rescue at the same complex when a worker needed medical attention while on the roof. Our members utilized a rope rescue system from the main aerial of Ladder 17 to safely lower the worker from the building.
While handling that incident, we were also dispatched to an apartment complex for a reported building fire, which fortunately turned out to be burnt food.
Monday morning, we assisted Colmar Volunteer Fire Company with a vehicle fire on Broad Street. While operating at that incident, our Engine and Ladder were dispatched to a dwelling fire in Lower Salford Township, while Squad 17 remained behind to finish up at the vehicle fire.
None of this would be possible without the dedication of our volunteers and the incredible mutual aid departments we work alongside.
